The PVC can be coated on galvanised steel in 0.5-0.7 mm and aluminium in 0.7 mm thickness.
Plywood and Veneers
TT Trading offers many different types of plywoods and veneers.
Plywood is a type of manufactured wood made from thin sheets of wood (wood veneer). It is one of the most widely used wood products. It is flexible, cheap, workable, and recyclable. Plywood is used instead of plain wood because of its resistance to cracking, shrinkage, and twisting/warping, and its general high degree of strength.
Veneers are obtained either by “peeling” the trunk of a tree or by slicing large rectangular blocks of wood known as flitches. The appearance of the grain and figure in wood comes from slicing through the growth rings of a tree and depends upon the angle at which the wood is sliced.
TT Trading can provide many types of laminates. All laminates for Marine use are approved according to IMO and are going under the categori HPL.
The HPL laminate is a reliable comprehensive product that is
– Highly versatile
– High impact and scratch resistance
– Retains its appearance even in heavy duty applications
Standard laminates at LiteCore is Formica, Abet and Resopal. We also provide after customer request.
PP Foil and Glass Tissue
PP Foil is a decorative finish foil for indoor use. PP Foil is made of a polypropylene (PP) base film that is topped off with a duroplastic paint final coat. PP Foil’s key advantage is its proof against humidity and water, that it is resistant to rot and fungus, and that it acts as a barrier against steam and formaldehyde.
Steel and Aluminium
Steel and aluminium are a very popular choice of surface within the off shore and marine industries.
We offer our customers galvanised and stainless steel a in standard thickness of 0.7 mm.
Aluminium offers advantages in situations where weight is a crucial factor.
Aluminium surfaces are anodised using chromium. A thin, airtight layer of oxide then prevents the oxygen from reaching more metal.
